As a Ngunnawal woman, Nevada has lived and worked on Country all her life, stepping up to take a leadership role in cultural responsibilities continuing the legacy of her late father, recently officially Welcoming to Country the US Ambassador to Australia, Carolyn Kennedy. She is the primary senior consultant facilitating and delivering the Cultural Awareness Programs to multiple government and other organisations locally and nationally, along with the Talent Management Program.

Nevada is committed to finding practical ways to improve outcomes for Indigenous Australians and knows that this includes building the capacity of all Australians to work with her people.
