Workforce, Strategy and Cultural Advisory

We strengthen organisational capability, culture and strategy through culturally informed approaches that integrate workforce planning, leadership development, governance and change management. Our services include workforce strategy and development, leadership capability building, governance support, cultural capability uplift, and embedding culturally safe ways of working across all levels of the organisation. We also provide strategic and policy advice grounded in lived experience, cultural knowledge, and evidence to ensure that workforce and organisational strategies are both effective and culturally responsive.

Our services include:

  • Workforce modelling and scenario analysis for staffing and skill requirements

  • Cultural capability assessments, “health checks” and development programs

  • Governance framework design and advisory for decision-making structures

  • Organisational culture diagnostics using surveys, interviews and data analysis

  • Strategic workforce planning aligned to operational and policy objectives

  • Change impact assessments and tailored transition plans

  • Knowledge translation of policy and research into actionable workforce strategies

Examples of our work

Transforming cultural learning from ad-hoc training into structured, outcomes-focused frameworks for the ACT Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate

We conducted a Cultural Needs Analysis to strengthen cultural capability, workforce inclusion, and institutional integrity across the Directorate. By centring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff voices, analysing workforce data, and applying evidence-based frameworks, we identified systemic gaps and developed clear, prioritised recommendations for a staged Cultural Learning Strategy. Our approach ensured practical, actionable outcomes that support executive accountability, drive systemic change, and align with the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Agreement, the RAP, and Closing the Gap commitments.

Building inclusive, member-driven frameworks that strengthen governance, measure impact and drive sector-wide sustainability for the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO)

We led the development of a sector-wide Strategic Directions framework for NACCHO, reflecting the collective voice of its 147 Community Controlled member organisations. Through a participatory national planning process, inclusive consultation, and consensus-building, we strengthened governance, embedded Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, and delivered a cohesive framework that supports long-term sustainability, self-determination, and national advocacy.
